When you didn't think that transferring someone out of bed could be used to say that 'you have done your job' and you push her around the ward in a wheelchair to make her feel better, you get people telling you that it is not under your job scope.
When you help your colleague run errands from one end of the ward to another, from the ward to the office, document for her so she can sign (because she will be knocking off very late if you don't), and not expect anything of her; but to have her give you a call when you are rushing down to somewhere else after taking half day off – to ask that you thank her for helping you with one patient in the afternoon when you are gone.
I don't get it. I don't think I ever will.
