- Not
rememberingknowing what hemiglossectomy is. I mean like who the hell thinks that 'gloss-' anything has something to do with the neck? Technically, the tongue is an integral part of what happens in the neck but NO. You do not stutter when your supervisor asks you what hemiglossectomy is and all you do is point to your throat and shrug after ten seconds. - Information overloading to such an extent that what I read tonight will most probably be read again over the weekend because my brain seems to be functioning at maximal capacity and refuses to retain any other information. It is high time that my brain learns how to deal with retrospective interference and stop failing on me!
- Reading case notes and worrying about precautions and contraindications to mobilisations, deep breathing exercises, coughing, suctioning, etc.
- Leaving the gym at 1700, reaching home at 1815 and worrying about how I have to cram eating, doing the laundry, studying and sleeping before 2200 so that I will have eight hours of sleep; all because I do not function well with tedium.
- Typing this out when all I ought to do should have been studying, really.
